The aim is a product that is durable, robust and free from identifiable risks and thus meets the requirements of safety and quality in daily use.

To evaluate the original packaging (OVP), it is first checked whether the product is delivered in the usual commercial packaging that the customer would expect. It is also examined whether the packaging offers sufficient protection against damage and environmental influences, including a drop test from a height of 1 meter. The materials and any odors in OVP are also assessed in terms of sustainability and environmental friendliness. The size of the package should be appropriate to avoid unnecessary empty spaces. Finally, it is checked whether the OVP is equipped with a sealing mechanism that prevents unnoticed opening and possible manipulation.

Hydro Ceramic Foam is designed as a foaming sealing active foam that is intended to combine cleaning and paint protection in one go — both on unsealed and already sealed vehicles. From a consumer's point of view, it is crucial whether the promised hydrophobic protective effect is clearly noticeable in everyday life and whether the product is easy and safe to process at the same time.

Application: As soon as you open it, you notice a pleasant scent with a cherry note; the bottle, material appearance and labelling look high-quality and well thought-out. Child locks on both openings prevent accidental opening — an advantage in households with children. The integrated dosing head with measuring chamber makes mixing much easier: Dosing is quick and precise, without additional measuring cups. The foam is applied evenly in the recommended mixing ratio (e.g. 1:12 in a foam gun). Characteristic for this product category is not a dense “carpet”, but a thin, uniform film that runs across the surface. This is typical of operation and is not an indication of poor performance. Only one too much amount of product pumped up once cannot be easily returned to the bottle, which requires some attention when dosing.

Impression in everyday use: Unsealed paint shows how the water film breaks up during the exposure time — an early sign of the resulting hydrophobicity. After rinsing with a high-pressure cleaner, there is significantly increased peeling behavior; the paint appears smoother and the shine is visibly refreshed. For classic hand washing, the cleaning performance is sufficient when slightly dirty without the need for mechanical assistance. Hydro Ceramic Foam works more as a “booster” on surfaces that have already been sealed: The existing protective layer is not affected; rather, the surface appears visually renewed and noticeably smoothed after application. Water drains faster and more evenly, beading and sheeting are visibly intensified. Especially for well-maintained, already protected vehicles, the foam proves to be very efficient aftercare, as no additional mechanical polishing is required. As expected, when it comes to highly adhesive dirt — such as dried insect remains, heavily soiled sills or rims — the product reaches its limits: Some stubborn residues remain and must be treated with suitable pre-cleaners or mechanical assistance. This is due to the system and corresponds to the clear positioning as a sealing and care product, not as a strong pre-cleaner.

Conclusion from a consumer perspective: For users who value a combined solution of cleaning and sealing, servFaces Hydro Ceramic Foam is an extremely practical product. On unsealed paints, the foam provides noticeably more smoothness and strong abrasion properties; on vehicles that have already been sealed, it visibly refreshes the existing protection without disturbing it. The integrated dosing bottle, high yield and good material compatibility in compliance with the manufacturer's instructions strengthen the positive overall impression. However, Hydro Ceramic Foam is clearly recommended from a consumer's point of view as a care and sealing foam in the intended area of use.
