P1 - Product packaging & sustainability
Category description
This test category examines the quality and sustainability of the original packaging in all relevant dimensions: protective effect, information content, material ecology, volume efficiency and sensory safety. It is assessed whether the packaging reliably protects the product from damage, provides all necessary information clearly and completely, uses resources efficiently and enables environmentally friendly disposal. High-quality packaging not only contributes to product safety, but also strengthens consumer confidence and reduces environmental burdens.
Very good — “The product packaging makes a very good impression and offers excellent protective properties. All relevant aspects have been met in an exemplary manner. ”
P2 - Scope of delivery & accessories
Category description
This is where it is determined whether a product is delivered complete, intact and immediately ready for use. The completeness, functionality of all parts, the quality of the instructions, internal safety and warning information, ergonomics and the accuracy of the accessories are checked. A complete, functional package avoids delays, increases customer satisfaction and reduces complaints or returns.
Very good — “The package is complete and in perfect condition. All required parts (instructions, accessories, if applicable) are included so that the product is immediately ready for use. Very convincing. ”
P3 - Material quality & visible safety
Category description
This test category assesses the materials used, their processing and compliance with visible safety requirements. Stability, surface quality, absence of harmful substances, material resistance and the legally required safety markings are tested. The aim is a product that is durable, robust and free from identifiable risks and thus meets the requirements of safety and quality in daily use.
Very good — “The product makes a high-quality and reliable impression. No sharp edges, solid material quality and no identifiable sources of danger — convincing all round. ”
P4 - Ease of use & ergonomics
Category description
The focus here is on user-friendliness. Operating logic, handling, grip and holding comfort, adjustment options and points of view and access points are assessed. It is investigated how intuitively and fatigue-free a product can be used in different application situations. Ergonomic, clear operation increases safety, efficiency and satisfaction in use.
Very good — “The operation is very intuitive and ergonomic — buttons, displays, settings are clearly structured and effortless. Hardly a cause for criticism. ”
P5 - Performance & efficiency
Kategoriebeschreibung
Very good — “Outstanding performance and efficiency: The product performs its main task quickly and in a resource-saving manner, without significant weaknesses. ”
P6 - Durability & resistance to stress
Category description
This is where it is tested how well a product withstands typical everyday loads and how resistant it is to wear and tear. Material fatigue, joint stability, surface resistance and functionality after repeated use are assessed. A durable product ensures long-term reliability and contributes to sustainable use of resources.
Very good — “The product is extremely robust. Impact, friction or moisture cause hardly any wear — longevity is highly likely. ”
P7 - Product-specific features
Category description
This test category includes special features and functions that are specifically important for the respective product group. Individual performance features, additional functions, technical features and unique selling points that go beyond generic criteria are assessed. The aim is a realistic, fair and comparable assessment that reflects the specific benefits of a product for the consumer.
Good — “Very solid performance in terms of industry-specific parameters. Minimal deficiencies only in detailed areas (e.g. secondary function, scope of certificates). ”

Summary note
This summary is based on the tester's subjective user experience and compactly summarizes personal impressions and practical observations during use. It is used exclusively for everyday classification from a consumer's point of view and is not part of the computational DTI evaluation. This does not replace an objective review, advice or binding assurance; legal claims are not based on this.
Experience report
Note on practical experience
The tester's subjective user experience — including previous experiences, expectations, and personal impressions during use. It reflects a personal, situational assessment and is not part of the DTI assessment. It does not replace objective examination or advice and does not establish any legal claims. The aim is to give consumers an assessment that is close to everyday life.

Breakdown sprays are only known to many by hearsay; assessments from workshops, retailers and the Internet sometimes differ significantly. Irrespective of the formal test objective, it is assessed whether such a spray — as a temporary solution, not as a permanent repair — will enable a safe journey to the nearest workshop.

Application: The illustrated instructions make it easy to use. Continuously pressing the trigger until it is completely emptied requires some force.

Driving impression: After driving off, a slight imbalance is noticeable, which is significantly offset by the recommended distribution route. After around 10 km, the measured tire pressure in the test was above the output pressure of the intact wheels.

Conclusion from a consumer perspective: For small tread holes, the spray offers a quick, easy emergency solution. Observe operating limits (not for cuts, sidewall/valve damage), comply with the speed limit and plan a trip to the workshop. A can in the trunk can help decisively in an emergency.
